Diversified Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education is a work-based experience that combines classroom instruction with paid, on-the-job training. Seniors who are enrolled at PCTC and have successfully completed at least the 4 core courses in their program area/career major are eligible to apply for this program. Employment must be directly related to the technical program/major in which in the student is enrolled and the student must have the recommendation of the instructor in that program. The student enrolled in Cooperative Education attends class up to 6 hours per week and reports to the employer during the remaining hours they would normally be in the technical classes.
