This program prepares students for employment in a dental office or for higher education in the fields of dentistry or dental hygienist.

DENTAL ASSISTING students learn how to assist the dentist in the following procedures:

dental exams

extracting teeth

filling teeth

preparation for protheses

They also learn:

dental anatomy

dental radiology

utilization of lab materials

sterilization procedures
